Job DescriptionLogistics Coordinator | Whitstable, Kent | c. 30,000 | Full-Time, Office-Based (5 Days/Week)Are you a detail oriented logistics professional with experience in managing export/import operations and dangerous goods compliance? We're supporting a specialist distributor of scientific and laboratory products in their search for a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team in Whitstable.Your day-to-day will involve working closely with freight partners, customs brokers, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Youll also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date shipping records and ensuring that all operations meet international regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR).Alongside the operational work, you'll keep a close eye on inventory movements, flagging any issues to stakeholders, and suggesting ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.What Were Looking For:2+ years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain, ideally with exposure to dangerous goodsSolid understanding of customs procedures and international shipping standardsStrong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with logistics or ERP systemsDangerous Goods certification (IATA, IMDG) would be an advantageApply today to find out more on this excellent opportunity!
