Job Title: Employee Relations SpecialistIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)Location: Coventry, UK (Hybrid/On-site)Salary: 40,000 - 42,330 per annumAbout the Role We're seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to manage complex ER cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and absence reviews. You'll coach managers, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of ER issues (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance).Support managers in conducting hearings, investigations, and appeals (up to dismissal).Provide coaching to line managers on ER best practices.Analyse risks and recommend fair, legally sound case outcomes.Build strong relationships with stakeholders (HR, legal, leadership).Maintain accurate case records and produce data-driven reports.Essential Skills & Experience Proven ER experience handling complex cases in the UK.Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.Ability to coach managers and influence decision-making.Excellent written/verbal communication and critical thinking.Organised & resilient can prioritise a high-volume caseload under pressure.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and HR systems.Desirable CIPD qualification or equivalent.Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or unionised environments.TPBN1_UKTJ
