Our high-throughput system is designed to meet the demands of laboratories efficiently and effectively.As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced accounts assistant to join our team in Whiteley, to help us bring our life-saving new technology to market.ResponsibilitiesYou will join the Administration/Accounts team, and will be expected to:Administer the purchase order systemEnsure goods received are properly recordedReceive and check invoicesPost invoices and expenses to the Xero accounting systemCheck suppliers statements when received, resolve issuesReconcile payments made on the Xero systemAny other duties as requestedRequirements:-Minimum 1-2 years in assistant accounting role / book-keeping experienceAn accurate and methodical approach to workExperience of accounting systems such as XeroExperience of accounts payable and dealing with suppliersGood Excel skillsGreat interpersonal skills, as we are a small, close-knit team with a culture of togetherness.Good communication skills, to liaise with colleagues and the wider community.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use your initiative to fix things when they go wrong.This is a part-time role, requiring 15 hours per week, to be worked flexibly on site at Whiteley.
