Ourfamily-owned business is where to achieve more from your career byproudly building Britain's future heritage with us.The Temporary Works Coordinator roleSupporting with all aspects of the design,coordination, submission, compliance, programming and management oftemporary works design, and assurance, maintaining and updating theTemporary Works Register and completed similar roles withinConstruction. Being the firstpoint of contact between the designers of Temporary Works and thesite team/ Contractors. Co-ordination ofall Temporary Works activities. Ensuringthat design briefs are prepared by relevant team members (withappropriate consultation), are adequate and are in accordance withthe actual site requirements (design brief are prepared by theconstruction team and reviewed / approved by the Area TWC/ LeadTWC). Ensuring that satisfactoryTemporary Works designs are carried out, that appropriate designchecks are completed and that the design has beenapproved. Ensuring all appointments arein place for all contractors or kept up to date during theconstruction stages. Pre-erectioninspection of the temporary works materials andcomponents. Control and supervision ofthe erection, safe use, maintenance and dismantling of thetemporary works. Check that thetemporary works have been erected in accordance with the approveddesigns and issue a formal "permit to load" wherenecessary. Confirm when the permanentworks have attained adequate strength to allow dismantling of thetemporary works and issue a formal "permit to dismantle" wherenecessary. Ensuring that a ChangeControl process is in place, that any agreed changes or remedialaction are done properly and controlled & monitored on sitefollowing Temporary Works Procedures. Ensuring that maintenance of the Temporary Works isproperly done (or delegation to construction team is carriedout); Following confirmation that thepermanent structure has attained adequate strength, issuing formalpermission to dismantle the Temporary Works, and specifying anysequencing of the operation that is required. To ensure that all appropriate maintenance and inspectionof the Temporary Works are carried out. Carry out regular audits or surveillance to contractorinstalled temporary works. Technicalability to review and approve Temporary Works designs fromcontractors or in house designs. Manageinterfaces across our production and subcontractor teams Your profileYou hold a currentTWC CITB Certification or equivalent, and a valid CSCS card,coupled with Contractor/Subcontractor managementexperience. You hold a degree or equivalentqualification and or experience in an Engineering relateddiscipline preferably Civil or Structural. You will have demonstrable experience of working at asimilar level with experience gained in temporary worksdesign/delivery management, ideally on largeinfrastructure/construction projects. You'll have strong organisational skills, effectiveinfluencing, and communication skills. You'llalso be a strong collaborator and relationship builder witheffective stakeholder management skills.
