Including idea management.Accountable for reducing complexity across and improving user experience across both system configuration and integrated data modelOwn the product tooling strategy and roadmap for Clarity and Asana to ensure we are up to date with vendor prioritization of features and changesAccountable for the backlog of improvements, changes, requests made across the Enterprise for Clarity and AsanaDrive governance, data quality and process elimination across project and product lifecycle system workflowsEnd-to-end tooling adherence oversight including group standardisation and ownership of group tooling policyAdditional responsibilities include:Enterprise Product Tooling StrategyUnderstanding the Groups vision and strategic direction to build the enterprise-wide Product Tooling StrategyDefine and deliver a cohesive end-to-end tooling ecosystem, providing greater alignment, efficiency and visibility of execution across the GroupDefine clear persona-based usage for each tool part of the Strategy, ensuring scalable cross-functional collaborationDefine and deliver the Product Tooling Roadmap, building in key people, process, technology and data dependencies. Ensure roadmap is based on stakeholder and user feedback, business value and evolving enterprise requirementsChampion product ways of working in how tooling improvements are delivered, focusing on user experience and continuous feedback, while promoting visibility and transparency of the roadmap and backlogCross-Enterprise Alignment and AdoptionDrive global adoption and consistent use of tooling across divisions and functions, aligned with Group standards, processes and frameworksLead Tooling change efforts including sponsoring business cases for product enhancements and leading cross-functional programmesLead the rationalisation, consolidation and/or integration of overlapping tools, reducing complexity and improving usabilityEnsure that tooling supports the adoption of consistent product management standards via appropriate capabilities and usage conventionsGovernance and StandardsEstablish and maintain a governance forum to ensure consistent use, configuration, data quality and prioritisation across all work management toolsCreate and enforce standards and best practices for tool usage across divisions and functionsCollaborate with engineering to champion simplification by rationalizing overlapping tools, integration where needed to reduce complexity and improve user experienceInsightful Reporting and Decision SupportEnable portfolio and team level reporting and executive dashboards through tool configurations and data integrationsDeliver meaningful insights for delivery performance and resource utilization, adopting a combination of leading and lagging indicators focus on business outcomes and strategic objectivesLead decision support through selection of priority programmesEstablish KPIs and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement and user satisfactionTeam Leadership and capability BuildingBuild, lead and develop a high performing Product Tooling teamFoster culture of continuous improvement, innovation and customer-centric service within the teamVendor and Stakeholder ManagementManage strategic relationships with tooling vendors, ensuring commercial alignment and business value from toolsCollaborate effectively with delivery teams, Engineering, Product and Operations leaders to align priorities and maximise valueManage strategic relationships with third-party vendors to ensure tools evolve in line with market trends and organisation needsRequired Experience & Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise tooling, product operations and/or portfolio management platform .Deep expertise in work management tools Clarity, Planview, Asana, Rally, Jira and/or other comparable platforms.Good understanding of integration platform tools Dell Boomi, Tasktop (Planview Viz), Connect All, and/or other comparable platforms.Strong understanding of agile, hybrid and waterfall methodologies and how tooling supports their delivery at scale.Proven experience working in large matrixed global organisations, ideally within financial services or technology sectors.Experience leading tooling integrations, migrations or consolidations across complex enterprise environments.Demonstrated success in driving tool adoption, change management, and user training programmes at scale.Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external senior leaders to understand their drivers and collaborate effectively to execute strategic objectives.Strong leadership and team management experience with ability to motivate and develop team members and build high performing teams.Demonstrated ability and proven track record of leading and influencing large organisations and deliverables with ability to get involved in both high and lower-level technical challenges that impact deliver.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
