Job Description Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experiencedLead General Practitionerto support a GP Surgery , just outside of Leeds for a minimum of3 months. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced GP to further develop their scope of practice, within an established organisation.Location:Castleford, LeedsContract:Locum - 3 month contractStart Date:December (date TBC)Pay:100 LTD p/h - paid weeklyAbout the Role: We are seeking an enthusiasticLead GPto support our Clients GP Practice on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a confident and proactive General Practitioner with experience in clinical leadership and practice support. You will work closely with the practice team to ensure high-quality patient care, effective clinical governance and continuity across services during this period. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior clinical leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary teamDeliver high-quality primary care to the practice populationManage clinical workloads including telephone, face-to-face and urgent care appointmentsProvide supervision, support, and mentorship to clinical staff where requiredSupport day-to-day operational functions and decision-making within the practiceOversee clinical governance and ensure adherence to practice and NHS policiesParticipate in MDT meetings, clinical audits and practice improvement activitiesEnsure safe and effective prescribing practicesMaintain accurate and timely patient records (EMIS/S1 experience beneficial)RequirementsGMC-registered General PractitionerExperience in a Lead GP / Clinical Lead / Senior GP capacityProven ability to manage and support clinical teamsStrong decision-making and leadership skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a primary care settingAvailability to commit to the full contract period (December start, up to 3 months)Ability to commute to Castleford To enquire, please email Eleanor on [email protected] or call 01772 208963
