Graduate Logistics Coordinator

Job DescriptionFortress Recruit is proud to partner with a global leader in marine propulsion solutions, to hire a Logistics Coordinator for their UK site.This is a pivotal role within the UK operations team, ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective dispatch and receipt of finished goods, spare parts, and purchased components. Key responsibilities will include: Coordinating all outbound shipments across EMEA, using the most cost-effective freight options.Processing customer orders daily via M3 ERP and ProDoc systems.Managing logistics documentation including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and conformity.Liaising with freight forwarders and maintaining strong working relationships.Handling inbound deliveries, booking in stock, and supporting warehouse functions including picking and packing.Monitoring and managing customs duties, tariff codes, and reclaim opportunities for exports outside the EU.Ensuring compliance with VAT and duty requirements to avoid fines or delays.To succeed in this role, you will have:Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination (ideally in engineering or manufacturing)An understanding of customs documentation and international shipping processes ERP system knowledge (M3 or similar) and proficiency with shipping softwareA proactive, detail-focused mindset with great communication skillsForklift license (desirable or willingness to be trained)This role would suit a recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in logistics, marine studies, supply chain, or a related discipline, and a keen interest in the movement of goods, global shipping, and international operations.This is a full time, permanent role based on-site in West Sussex.
