COO / Operations Director

The CompanyLegion's client is a rapidly growing product and services company that sells into the public sector in the UK and further afield. This West Country-based company is looking for a COO to drive significant change, in terms of both organisational structure and process creation/implementation. The COO must have mature and effective leadership capabilities as he/she will need to inspire and cajole a large team of people through the first major change to this organisation in it's trading history. ResponsibilitiesSupport the CEO in changing the company's org structure, take on responsibility for all 'delivery resources' and provide the necessary leadership to keep the team motivated and performingUnderstand and evaluate day-to-day operations before implementing changes to ways of workingImplement new processes and ensure, in the right way, adherence to new ways of workingImprove engagement with suppliers/partnersQualifications/RequirementsMinimum of eight years in senior operations leadership/change management rolesMinimum of one role in which you have been entirely responsible for the delivery of products and services in an SME company or a significant business unit in a global business (ideally as COO)Able to demonstrate driving change/growth in at least one privately held company of a relevant size (£20-50m turnover)Strong leadership capabilitiesAble to be in the West Country 3x a week
