Job DescriptionConveyancing ManagerLocation: WorcestershireSalary: Up to 55,000 per year + BonusJob Type: Full-time, Office-based (Monday to Friday)Experience Required: Minimum 5 years PQE in Residential ConveyancingQualifications: SRA / CLC / CILEXAbout the RoleA specialist law firm in Worcester is seeking an experienced Conveyancer or Qualified Solicitor to lead its residential property team. This is a senior position focused on both legal work and operational leadership, with potential progression to Director level.The firm is known for its professional yet down-to-earth approach, and it maintains a strong emphasis on quality over quantity. Caseloads are capped to ensure high standards and work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam & Operational LeadershipManage day-to-day operations of the conveyancing departmentSupervise, mentor, and support a small team (both in-office and remote)Streamline internal systems and workflowsFoster a collaborative, supportive team cultureApprove legal files and ensure regulatory complianceIdentify and manage risks, escalating issues when necessaryLegal Work & ComplianceHandle residential property transactions from instruction to post-completionDraft and review sale and purchase documentsConduct due diligence, including title checks and property searchesLiaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitorsEnsure all files are legally compliant and transactions are fully documentedFinancial & Post-CompletionPrepare financial statements and handle completion fundsCoordinate with lenders, including government-backed schemesSubmit SDLT returns, manage Land Registry filings, and close filesCandidate RequirementsApplications are welcomed from:Qualified SolicitorsLicensed ConveyancersChartered Legal Executives (CILEx)Essential:At least 5 years' experience running a residential conveyancing caseloadExpertise in freehold, leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactionsConfident leading a team and managing complianceExcellent communication and client service skillsAbility to work full-time in office to lead the team and develop others Salary & Benefits4 Day Working Week!
