Job DescriptionTitleMaintenance ManagerPosition TypePermanentLocationWest MidlandsCategoriesEngineeringResponsibilities Working as a seconded PM Group resource in a client-led team. Taking on a pivotal project role with key responsibilities in and around the chemical manufacturingindustry optimizing, improving, and analysing information. Undertaking a thorough assessment of reliability procedures relating to existing plant. Developing new reliability procedures to ensure current equipments working lifespan is increasedsignificantly. Improvements in efficiency will also be required. Leading the existing reliability and maintenance teams through newly developed procedures. Actively contribute towards a Process Safety Management programme to improve the Site processrisk profile. Working alongside third party contractors and offering input into process design and installation. Being able to perform as a technical, hands-on engineer as required. Develop the skills and competencies of the Maintenance team to meet the needs of the business. Ensure the effective and efficient achievement of operational availability targets in accordance withthe operational needs of the business. Continuously explore ways to improve delivery to customers and through this achieve excellence inoperational efficiency and effectiveness using proven lean methodology and problem-solving tools.Qualifications & Requirements Candidates must have proven experience of working as a reliability/maintenance engineer onmultiple projects in the chemical industry. Candidates must have extensive experience of working within the industrial manufacturing sector. Experience of working in a high hazard Chemical (COMAH) environment (Desirable) Hold EHS qualification NEBOSH or equivalent (Desirable) Understanding of asset management techniques including preventative maintenance andmaintenance strategies. Good understanding of process safety management including asset integrity (Desirable) Candidates will be able to lead and educate people through the introduction of new procedures.
