Export Clerk

Job Description Our client a small forwarder are looking for a candidate with previous experience within an Export role (AOG/Time Critical). 80% Airfreight but also some Road and Seafreight. Willing to put their hand in at every opportunity and go above and beyond to support the Companies business verticalsHandling Aerospace, General Cargo, OBC, AOG, Time Critical, VIP, hazardous and live animals.Experience of working in an export department, managing all aspects of a booking process from start to finish including Customs entriesOpportunity to learn airfreight importsComputer literate with a clear understanding of Excel, Word and PowerPointUnderstand a full range of Incoterms and current Customs ProceduresHave a clear understanding of International Trade RegulationsHave an exceptional understanding of Geography, Mathematics and Literacy Service & Engagement is non-negotiable - retaining and growing the existing customer base whilst ensuring exceptional customer serviceHave a willingness to learn and develop in a fast paced settingMulti modal experience preferableDG trained preferableCargowise or Boxtop experience preferableLevel CO security essentialCar driver essentialSalary - Circa 30,000 - 35,000This is not a Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm role, you will be on a rota for call outs for AOG shipments and the role is very much job to finish. Everybody helps out with all departments to get the job done.
