We have full time salaried GP position and looking for full time or Part time GP. The roles will involve all aspects of GP working including routine surgeries, on‑call responsibilities on a rota basis and dealing with patient tasks, prescription queries and administration.We have 3 GP Partners, 1 salaried part time GP's and 2 long term locums, practice nurse, HCA, Clinical PharmcistsMain duties of the job Salaried medical general practitioner providing general medical services including telephone triage and face to face appointments etc.About us We have 3 GP Partners, 1 salaried part time GP's and 2 long term locums, practice nurse, HCA, Clinical Pharmacist. Organisation set up is between two sites- Main surgery in West Bromwich and branch site in Smethwick.Job responsibilities To work as general practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationThe provision of services commensurate with the GMS contractGeneric prescribing adhering to local and national guidanceEffective management of long‑term conditionsProcessing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksOn a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor rolesMaintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceWorking collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadAdhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processContribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practiceAccept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOFAttend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as requiredContribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management and HREnsure compliance with the appraisal processPrepare and complete the revalidation processCommit to self‑learning and instill an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice teamSupport the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditureReview and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all timesEncourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all timesIn addition to the primary responsibilities, the salaried GP may be requested to:Participate in practice audits as requested by the audit leadParticipate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient careParticipate in the review of significant and near‑miss events applying a structured approach i.e. root cause analysis (RCA)JD is subject to change as per practice needsPerson Specification QualificationsQualifications:Essential Qualifications-Qualified GPMRCGPVocational training certificate or equivalent JCPTGPGeneral practitioner certificate of completion of training CCTFull GMC registration1.
