Certification Engineer

Certification Engineer responsibilities include - Reading and interpreting national, international, and customer specifications and standards. Checking and approving incoming raw material and fastener certifications, including EN 10204 3.1 certificates, across multiple material grades. Compiling certification packs. Liaising directly with suppliers and customers to resolve queries. Scanning and filing chemistry, heat treatment, and plating reports. Certification Engineer desirable skills and experience - Engineering graduate or previous experience working with technical documents and specifications. Experience with fasteners and other metallic components is highly beneficial but not essential. Familiarity with EN 10204 3.1 certification for fully traceable, high-integrity components. Basic understanding of chemistry, heat treatment processes, mechanical/metallurgical/NDT test methods.
