We are seeking a skilled and hard working Site Engineer /Sub Agent to oversee and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Site Engineer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate daily site operations and resolve technical challenges. The works will predominately in Yorkshire on Yorkshire Water Projects. Shaft Sinking, Tunnelling and Trenchless Works. Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities on-site.Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and safety regulations.Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.Perform quality control checks and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.Prepare site reports, progress updates, and maintain accurate project documentation.Manage site resources including manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.Identify and resolve technical or site-related issues promptly.Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and ensure compliance at all times.Assist in preparing cost estimates, schedules, and procurement plans as required.Qualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.) and MS Office tools.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
