Psychological Therapist - adolescent male trauma

Shire Healthcare are looking to recruit a Psychological Therapist to join and support a therapeutic community in Welshpool,Powys. Role snapshot: The candidate appointed will provide a specialist service , supporting assessment and 1-2-1 intervention work for young males presenting with sexual harmful behaviours /other mental health within a residential setting.Facilitate group supervision and group dynamics. You will also complete risk assessments , work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and evaluate service procedures/audit. Contract type permanent Hours part-time, 3 or 4 days per week Salary - 35,000 - 37,500 FTE Experience required: Applicants applying will be working towards, or hold full accreditation with the BACP/UKCP/NCPS/BABCP (or a similar professional body) and must have experience working with children and young people who have complex needs.
