TIG/MIG Welder

A Welder / TIG Welder / MIG Welder is required for a manufacturing business based in Wellingborough. The Welder / TIG Welder / MIG Welder will be responsible for welding stainless steel components and supporting basic assembly and testing activities. The successful Welder / TIG Welder / MIG Welder will have strong TIG & MIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment, working with stainless steel, and must live within a commutable distance of the site in Wellingborough. Package: 36,500 per annum + 15% Shift allowance (Valid until April 2027) Monday to Thursday 15:30 till 00:00 Friday 11:30 - 20:00 24 days bank holiday Paid birthday leave Pension Life assurance Private medical insurance Health cash plan Enhanced sick pay Employee assistance programme Welder / TIG Welder / MIG Welder Role: TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel components Assembly and welding using jigs, fixtures, and manipulators Carry out basic assembly and testing, including pressure and leak testing Comply with all health and safety procedures Welder / TIG Welder / MIG Welder Requirements: Minimum 5 years TIG welding experience Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions Welder coding to EN287-1 / ASME IX / PED is desirable Engineering qualification is beneficial Must be able to commute to Wellingborough TPBN1_UKTJ
