Machine Operator

ROLE: Machine Operative LOCATION: Wellingborough HOURS OF WORK: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating BASIC SALARY: 16.03 ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: All breaks paid Company Profile Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. To manufacture their formulations to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards. In this Machine Operator role, you will: Setting and operating mixing machines Load and unload products Rotate across various machines often operating more than 1 at a time Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping Participate and contribute to daily briefings Actively participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement activities Develop skills and support the team to deliver consistent results Support all areas of the business, manufacturing and supply chain In order to be successful as a Machine Operator you must: GCSE/ NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) or 2 years' experience in manufacturing operations Ideally a qualification in maths and English - must be competent in numeracy to read and understand numbers, batch cards and interpret technical instructions Experience in manufacturing / process industry Excellent verbal communication and team work skills to work with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets Desire to champion the company values Good understanding of company manufacturing Logical problem solving skills If you have the relevant experience our client is looking for in this Machine Operator role, we would like to hear from you.
