Product Development Manager

Job Description The Product Development Manager will be responsible for delivering product development projects within the continence device portfolio. The role operates within an established product development framework and under the direction of senior leadership.This is a hands-on, mid-level role focused on execution rather than strategy, suitable for an experienced product development professional who enjoys working closely with engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teamsDuties and responsibilitiesProduct Development DeliveryDeliver defined product development projects or work packages from concept through to launch, in line with agreed scope, timelines, and budgetsMaintain accurate project documentation and development records in line with company procedures including product development plans & product specificationsSupport feasibility studies, design & development, verification, and validation activities with our internal manufacturing sites and external suppliersImplement approved design changes to existing products, including cost reduction and incremental performance improvementsCross-Functional WorkingWork collaboratively with internal teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and MarketingWork closely with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of the projectsSupport engagement with clinicians, patients, and end users to inform product requirements and usability activitiesCoordinate day-to-day technical activities with suppliers and external partnersQuality & Regulatory SupportFollow established design control and risk management processesContribute to:Design reviewsRisk management filesTechnical documentationSupport regulatory submissions by providing technical input, under the guidance of the Regulatory team.Continuous ImprovementIdentify and propose practical improvements to products, processes, and development activitiesSupport early-stage concept generation and evaluation activitiesStay informed on relevant developments within continence care and medical devicesCommunication & Team ContributionProvide regular, structured progress updates to the NPD teamHighlight risks, dependencies, or delays in a timely mannerWork closely and collaborate with our overseas teams in India and ChinaContribute positively to a quality-focused, patient-centred team culturePuts the consumer at the heart of decisions and improvement recommendationsUpholds Clinisupplies Values and makes sure all colleagues feel valued, respected, appreciated and free to be who they are at work Complies with all policies, procedures, codes of ethics and mandatory instructions; identifies and reports risksDevelops own capabilities and participates in development activities.
