We are on the look out for an experienced and driven individual to join our People Team on a 12-month temporary basis to cover maternity leave.In this role, you will coordinate all areas of HR, including employee relations and day-today running of the people team.We are looking for this individual to join us in November 2025.More about Mane:With over three decades of experience, Mane is a multi award-winning, purpose-driven recruitment consultancy specialising in the technical and engineering industries.We work with industry leaders in Aerospace & Defence, Automotive & Motorsport, and Energy & Infrastructure, supporting projects like High Speed 2 and the creation of next-generation vehicles.What your responsibilities look like:Manage our internal recruitment processManage HR queries timely and effectivelyMonitoring and maintaining absence records, identifying trends or areas of concern.Co-ordination of staff changes in pay and conditions and leavers administration, including conducting exit interviews.Management of employee benefits schemes, to include pension, health insurance and commission/bonus arrangements.Support the companies onboarding process, to ensure all new starters are equipped and onboarded successfullyCoordinating company fleet, including ordering new vehicles in line with budgets set, conducting vehicle inspections, driving licence checks and servicing.Co-ordinate and monitor staff reviews, including probationary reviews and 1:1s, to ensure a fair and inclusive performance management process.Conduct HR 1:1s with new joiners to establish a fair, inclusive and consistent approach to Onboarding.Process and complete monthly payroll and complete end of year P11DsCompleting data reports and identifying improvementsEmployee relations, including meetings and letter compilingUpdating our employee manual and HR policies in line with legislation when required.Adhoc project completion and executionExperienceProven experience in a HR Officer / Advisor role.CIPD Level 3 QualifiedStrong data entry skills with attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Strong understanding of GDPRBenefits:Regular recognition, rewards and incentives tailored to your motivations22 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysPrivate medical insurance including discounts on retail and hospitalityWellness initiatives to support good mental healthRegular social events including trip incentives, team lunches and parties1pm Friday finish!
