Job DescriptionJob Title: Payroll Administrator (Temp to Perm)Location: Watford (Hybrid 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Start Date: ASAPType: Temporary to PermanentMUST HAVE SAP PAYROLL EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDEREDReporting to: Payroll Manager / Head of PayrollAbout the RoleWe are urgently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for an immediate temp-to-perm opportunity based in Watford. This is a key support role within a busy payroll team, processing payroll for approximately 3,000 employees on a monthly basis.The successful candidate must have proven end-to-end experience with SAP Payroll, as well as a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, statutory payments, and HMRC reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end processing of monthly payroll using SAP for approximately 3,000 UK employeesEnsure accurate calculation and processing of starters, leavers, bonuses, pensions, benefits, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve any discrepanciesProcess payroll changes including salary adjustments, tax code changes, and deductionsSupport the reconciliation of payroll and resolve variances in a timely mannerRespond to employee queries regarding payroll and benefitsMaintain and update payroll records in line with GDPR requirementsSupport month-end and year-end payroll tasks including P60s, P11Ds, and RTI submissionsAssist with payroll reporting for internal and external stakeholdersKey RequirementsProven experience with end-to-end SAP Payroll (essential)Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirementsAbility to manage high-volume payrolls with accuracy and attention to detailStrong Excel and data reconciliation skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlinesImmediately available or available at short notice
