Youll work closely with Solution Specialists, Account Teams, and strategic partners to shape compliant, commercially sound designs across structured cabling and smart building technologies.This is a visible role with the opportunity to influence bids, support major tenders, and contribute to high-value infrastructure programmes.What you'll doProduce accurate design estimates and bid responses for structured cabling, racks, PDUs, containment, WiFi, CCTV, and AV/MTR solutionsSupport account teams with solution design, pricing, and customer engagementEnsure bids are delivered using best practice (BICSI and manufacturer guidelines)Create handover packs, cabling schedules, wall elevations, schematics, and installation documentationOwn and refine cost models, applying value engineering to maximise marginProvide technical governance, risk management, and commercial assurance across opportunitiesSupport customer presentations and mid/post-bid discussionsWhat youll needStrong experience in structured cabling design and estimation (essential)Knowledge of containment/pathway design and survey validationUnderstanding of IP-connected solutions including WiFi, CCTV, AV, and meeting xjdpvnf room technologyStrong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) design and cabling principlesCAD and Bluebeam experience, plus strong Excel/Office skillsMinimum two manufacturer design accreditations (e.g. Corning, Panduit, Systimax, Nexans/Aginode)Commercial confidence (costing, margins, risk awareness), ideally with experience on 500K+ bidsWillingness to work towards BICSI (RCDD/CDCDP) or relevant AV/WiFi/CCTV certifications
