Procurement Specialist

About the Role:We’re looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist with experience in the medical device industry to join our team. You’ll play a key role in sourcing, supplier development, and ensuring supply chain continuity in a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage product end-of-life transitions and source alternatives to ensure supply continuity.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including obsolescence and long lead-time components.Evaluate and qualify alternative suppliers to support second-source initiatives.Track supplier performance and support audits and quality reviews.Collaborate cross-functionally on NPIs, sourcing compliant materials for new business.Ensure supplier contracts, NDAs, and ISO accreditations are maintained and reviewed.What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in procurement within the medical device or healthcare manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of MRP systems, supplier management, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, 13485, FDA).Skilled in cost analysis, BOM evaluation, and sourcing for complex projects.Excellent negotiation and communication skills across cross-functional teams.Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.CIPS certification or equivalent (preferred).
