Job Title: Parts Forecasting AnalystLocation: WarwickContract Length: Initial 6 months (then extended on 3 month rolling basis)Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are seeking a Parts Forecasting Analyst to join a leading global energy solutions provider. You will be responsible for predicting future parts demand, optimizing inventory levels, and contributing to the timely availability of parts to meet customer needs. This role involves analysing data, communicating with customers and other departments, and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Some of the main duties might include but are not limited to:Your responsibilitiesTo predict future parts demand and manage the forecast in SAP. Forecasting future parts requirements based on historical data, sales forecasts, and other relevant factorsTo calculate safety stock that buffers uncertainty in future demandTo collaborate with other Forecasting team members, Parts Delivery, Procurement, Engineering, Finance and Sales to agree on demand plans and impactsTo analyse future supply and demand in SAP to predict future inventory levels and anticipate future excessTo analyse data from various sources to identify trends and improve forecasting accuracyTo be process compliant through the use of company standard systems, processes and reportsTo create reports on forecast accuracy, safety stock, and current and future inventoryTo manage new requests to buy excess inventory. Use and improve the Excess Inventory Authorisation processLet’s talk about youYour profileYou will have working experience in Demand Planning, and a proven understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) (this experience is highly desirable but not essential)You must be an excellent communicator that is robust in their approach along with problem solving and proactive skillsYou will have a solid understanding of SAP or similar ERP systemsYou will have strong data skills, primarily, but not restricted to, MS ExcelYou will have experience in Process ImprovementWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
