Quality Manager - Head of Safety, Security & Environment

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join a Warwickshire based EV Battery Manufacturer as Head of Safety, Security & Environment. This is a pivotal global role, responsible for shaping and delivering the companys safety, security and environmental strategy across all operations, functions, suppliers and partners.This is an opportunity to make a significant impact, championing a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and compliance, while supporting the long-term success and reputation of the business.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement an integrated Safety, Security & Environment (SSE) strategy aligned with business goals and industry standards (e.g. ISO45001, ISO/IEC27001, ISO14001).Provide leadership across the organisation, driving quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the product lifecycle.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, maintaining all required certifications and accreditations.Lead the SSE team, promoting a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.Oversee supplier quality management, including audits and performance assessments.Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.Report on SSE performance to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas.Key Requirements:Degree in engineering, quality management or related discipline (Masters degree preferred).10+ years experience in safety, security and environmental leadership roles within a manufacturing or engineering setting.Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.Demonstrated success in building and implementing management systems.Skilled in data analysis, problem solving and performance reporting.Experience managing budgets and leading cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.Package:70K-95K (DOE)20% Annual Bonus8% PensionFamily Healthcare PackageThe company are not in a position to sponsor visas.
