CNC Operator & Setter Location Warwick Roles & Responsibilities CNC Operator & Setter Knowledge of WinMax controls for Hurco 3-Axis & 5-Axis CNC Operate CNC machines such as milling machines, Manual & CNC lathe. Read and interpret engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Set up CNC machines including tool selection, offsets, and work holding. Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts. Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality. Report machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors. Maintain production records and documentation. Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies. Assembly, ad-hoc rework using hand tools General metal working knowledge Coordinate with logistics for collection and delivery of projects. Offer suggestions for continuous improvement to project management software and procedures. Report to Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations Ensure the promotion of customer focus Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained Comply with the requirements of the ISO9001: 2015 QMS Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Certification or training in CNC machining or manufacturing technology. 3-5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
