Position Title: Senior Design Consultant Position Type: Contract Location: Warwick /CoventryOutside IR35 Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK. Job Description:Lead the electrical aspects of the T.50s vehicle programme in the run up to production releaseFocus on parts release and DV activities for the electrical systemIncluding review electrical harness CAD including correct harness routing and clipping support supplied by Tier 1 supplier in the context of the vehicleChair all required meetings and minute actions through RAG statusReport out to Senior management on Production Release readiness and identify any associated risk Qualifications / Skills neededExtensive experience in electrical system design, preferably within the automotive industry or in low-volume manufacturing.Deep understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, ECUs, sensors, power distribution, and battery management systems.Strong project management and leadership skills.Ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Why work through Contechs?Contechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
