Job Title:Avionics Systems ConsultantLocation:Warton, UK (On-site, 5 days per week) Level:Mid-Level (3–5 years’ experience) Employment Type:Full-Time, Contract or PermanentAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilledAvionics Systems Consultantto join our team on-site in Warton. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer with a strong background in flight avionics systems, radar technologies, and mission-critical equipment. You will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of advanced avionics systems for next-generation fighter aircraft.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supporthigh-level concept developmentfor flight avionics systems. Generate and manageformal system requirementsusing tools such asDOORS . Contribute tosystem and sub-system designand development across the avionics lifecycle. Apply knowledge of theV-Model lifecyclein the context of fighter aircraft systems. Supportinterface managementusing theICT Tool(ADS internal). Collaborate onradar and IFF (Identification Friend or Foe)system integration. Provide input intomission computer equipmentdesign and validation. UtilizeStatematefor system modeling and simulation. Manage configuration usingPCMS . Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.Desirable Experience:Prior experience in one or more of the following roles: ICD (Interface Configuration Document) Engineer Attack and Ident Engineer Front End Team Engineer Exposure tosafety-critical systemsand associated standards.
