Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Cheshire An established and growing construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with a main contracting background to join its commercial team in Cheshire .Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, education, commercial, and rail sectors, covering new build, refurbishment, and fit-out works.This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who wishes to gain exposure to working across varied project types while applying strong contractor-side commercial expertise in a professional consultancy environment.Responsibilities Cost Management Provide cost management support across a range of residential, education, commercial, and rail sector projects, assisting in the delivery of accurate cost advice from feasibility stage through to project completion.Cost Planning & Estimating Assist in the preparation of detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates for new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects, ensuring cost advice aligns with client objectives and project requirements.Tendering & Procurement Support the preparation of tender documentation, undertake tender analysis, and assist in contractor appointment processes to ensure value-driven procurement outcomes.Contract Administration Assist with post-contract commercial activities including interim valuations, variation assessments, cost reporting, and final account agreement in accordance with relevant construction contracts. xjdpvnf Client & Stakeholder Coordination Work collaboratively with clients, project managers, design teams, and contractors to monitor project costs, provide regular commercial updates, and support the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors.Requirements Must have relevant degree level qualifications (i.e.Quantity Surveying) Must have 3 years experience in a similar role preferably working for a Main Contractor Must be based within a commutable distance of Warrington Benefits 55,000- 63,000 Package
