We are hiringTeam Leaderfor our Residential Children's Home inManchester.Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Salary:Up to 40,000 per annumHours:Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week)Shift Pattern:2 on 3 off including evenings, weekends, and on average up to 8 sleeps per month.Sleep-in Rate:65 per sleep-in (included in total salary package)Voluntary Overtime Available"Empowering Futures, Nurturing Potential"This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and be part of a forward-thinking organisation that prides its self in been child focused while at the same time believing in investing in its team.What we aim to do is offersupportandnurturefor children and young people withemotional behaviour difficulties; and help navigate through day-to-day life using the therapeutic trauma informedARC model.The role of Team Leader involves:Leading shifts and supervising junior members of staffUndertaking agreed, delegated management responsibilities on an ongoing basisSupporting the young peoples emotional needsContributing towards maintaining a safe, warm and homely environmentProviding outstanding care to children while applying their individual care plansTaking the children on activitiesLiaising with families and professionals to ensure the best possible care is being provided and carried outTaking a proactive approach in supporting the children with attending and engaging in their educationTo make and maintain accurate records of the childs day, including any incidents that may occurCarry out general housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and completing health and safety checksApply safeguarding knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the homeComply with GDPR and Health and Safety regulationsWhat we are looking for from you:QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent or completion of 70-80% of this qualificationExperience in a children's home setting (essential)Passion to help nurture young peopleBe able to work shift patterns including sleep insFull, UK driving licence (essential)All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulationsWhat we can offer:A salary up to40,000per year, depending on qualifications,(65 per sleep in night - up to 8 sleeps per month). xjdpvnf Enrolment onto the fully funded QCF Level 3/4/5 Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualificationEnrolment into company pension scheme28 days annual leave per year, inclusive of bank holidaysComprehensive, paid induction training and ongoing training within the roleMonthly recognition awardsCasual dress codeAs a company we are offering a rewards and recognition bonus scheme based upon the performance of the home, additional earnings can see up to1000- subject to terms and conditionShifts day or nightOvertime availableERS (Employee Referral Scheme) up to500per referral.
