This role blends hands-on technical work with operational leadership and will suit someone who wants ownership, visibility, and a genuine opportunity to influence change.Key Responsibilities as Financial ControllerLead and develop a Management Accounts team and Financial Reporting team (8 total)Oversee timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts across group entitiesPrepare and review sensitive account areas such as payroll journals and bonus calculationsSupport consolidated Group Management Accounts and reporting packsOversee budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow requirementsProduce debt reporting and liaise with external lendersStrengthen financial controls, improve processes, and support system enhancementsWork closely with senior stakeholders across the businessManage the statutory audit cycle end-to-endReview VAT returns, corporation tax information, and regulatory filingsAbout YouACA qualified (or equivalent) - must xjdpvnf be audit-trained5+ years PQE within audit, management accounts, or technical reportingExperience working as Financial Controller within a regulatory environmentStrong understanding of accounting standards (FRS 102), consolidations & group reportingExperience managing multiple direct reports and overseeing broader finance functionsExcellent communicator with strong attention to detailAmbitious and proactive, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIf you are interested in applying to this position then please get in touch ASAP and apply via the link below.
