HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Description The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team.Shifts:Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included on a rota basis)Class 1Hours:DaysMonday to Friday (occasional Sunday shift)9-10 hour long shiftsDays - typically 09:00 - 10:00am start timePay Rate:Monday to Friday - 16.00 per hour PAYESaturday - 18.50 per hour PAYESunday - 21.50 per hour PAYELocation:Runcorn, WA7Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.The role:Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance, weekends included and requiredSecurely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units.Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift.Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck however, will be predominately trunking.Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).Minimum of 6 months experience required.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset.For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!JBRP1_UKTJ
