Job Description Senior Quantity SurveyorConsultant to Senior levelWarrington with travel to client site (Hybrid working, mixture of home, office and client sites)PermanentFull time with flexible working and core hoursAbout this opportunityGleeds is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team in the northwest on a permanent basis. In this role, you will play a key role in providing commercial leadership and contract management support on complex infrastructure and manufacturing projects within the nuclear sector. Youll be responsible for ensuring strong commercial governance, effective cost control and contract administration across all stages of project delivery.This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly regulated and technically challenging environment, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure value, compliance and successful project outcomes.Your day-to-day could sometimes involve: Management of contracts from inception (pre-contract support, tender evaluation, etc.) to completion (post-contract support)Operating with NEC3 form of contract and ideally IChemEIssuing/reviewing early warning noticesPriced and assessed compensation eventsMonthly commercial reportingManagement of contractor and subcontractor accountsIssuing payment certs and valuation assessment of the worksHowever, no two days are the same. We are a flexible team that supports each others projects as well as getting involved with wider business activities.
