Quality Technician

Your new role As a Quality Technician working on a double-day shift pattern, you will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, supporting root cause analysis, and driving quality improvements across the production process. Key Responsibilities:Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assembliesInterpret engineering drawings and specifications to verify product complianceConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformancesMaintain accurate quality records including inspection reports and NCRsSupport internal and external auditsCollaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issuesAssist in the calibration and maintenance of measuring equipmentWhat you'll need to succeed NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering or ManufacturingMinimum 2 years' experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsFlexibility to work a double day shift pattern (typically 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)What you'll get in return Competitive salary and shift allowance25 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pension schemeOngoing training and development opportunitiesFree on-site parking and subsidised canteenOpportunity to work in a forward-thinking and supportive teamWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
