Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Description Were looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Warrington! In this hands-on role, youll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, including conveyors, grading machines, crushing equipment, heat tunnels, sealing machinery, PLC-controlled systems and more. Youll help keep the site running efficiently, support continuous improvement, and ensure all equipment operates safely and reliably. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position! What youll be doing Perform planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, grading machines, crushing equipment, heat tunnels, sealing machinery, PLCs and other production systems Carry out electrical wiring, repairs and component replacements Diagnose and fix faults across both electrical and mechanical equipment Support new machinery installs, upgrades and commissioning Keep equipment running safely while minimising downtime Maintain accurate service records and documentation Work closely with a small engineering team to deliver effective plant support Drive improvements in reliability, efficiency and overall equipment performance Hours Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 6am-3pm Pay 39,000 - 42,000 (depending on experience) Skills/Experience Required Minimum 12 months maintenance experience within FMCG, production, manufacturing or industrial environments (food industry experience preferred) Electrical or mechanical qualifications preferred Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices Confident fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Benefits Company pension Free on-site parking Overtime available Training and career development opportunities Friendly, supportive culture Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
