With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, we're looking to expand our team with an experienced and proactive Construction Estimator.The Role:As a General Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects. Youll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting tenders, and working closely with the project and commercial teams to ensure successful bid outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.Prepare tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.Liaise with clients, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather cost data.Conduct risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities.Support the bid team in the preparation of tender submissions.Ensure all estimating activities comply with industry and company standards.Maintain and update a cost database for materials, labour, and plant.Requirements:Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in general contracting.Knowledge across a broad range of project types: public buildings, residential, commercial, and industrial.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing trends.Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.Relevant qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or a related field.What We Offer:A supportive and collaborative working environment.Opportunities for career progression and continued professional development.Varied and interesting projects with public and private sector clients.Competitive salary and benefits package.Apply Now:If you're a driven and detail-oriented estimator looking to work on a diverse range of projects, we'd love to hear from you.
