Logistics Coordinator

Job title : Logistics Coordinator Location : 8 Colville Ct, Warrington WA2 8QT Hours : Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 with 1 hour for lunch. 40 hours per week Reporting to : Programme Manager Rate: 16 per hour, weekly rolling contract The Logistics Coordinator holds the responsibility for the management and coordination of the Warrington Depot, yard and logistic movements, and will report to the Programme Manager North. Logistics Coordinator Duties : Responsible for managing all activities taking place in our yard / warehouse. Ensuring all vehicles, equipment and materials are parked / stored in a correct manner. Plant keyset holder Responsibility for Parking Eye management at the depot Responsible for ensuring all equipment is logged in / out upon departure / arrival. Responsible for ordering and controlling stock. Stock taking and ensuring that stocks are kept of certain items. Log hire equipment. Ensure timely off hire of hired equipment. Maintaining records. Reporting any lost or stolen tools and equipment. Logistics Coordinator Requirements Understand yard duties Full UK Driving License, ideally with Class 2 HGV Plant Operations Telehandler/Forklift licence Plant Operations Understanding of Civils and RRV plant Understanding of logistics, including Transport Orders and safe storage Experience of the construction / rail industry Have good interpersonal skills. Have excellent communication skills at all levels.
