Job DescriptionSupply Chain AnalystBirchwood (WA3)Initial 12 month contract possibility to extend for the right person!37 hours a week; 07:30 - 15:45 Mon - Fri (some flexibility around start/finish)Up to 28.85 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to 39.15 - depending on experienceOur client is a worldwide manufacturer of engines, mining and construction products; this is a new role, which you can make your own! Its been created to bring together multiple teams and fill current gaps. Its an extremely important opportunity with high visibility within the company, youll take tasks head on and make improvements for the benefit of company and customers, ensuring Aftermarket parts availability for a successful NPI! What will the Supply Chain Analyst (NPI) do?Manage 6000 - 7000 part numbers across the different new products being introducedData Analysis: review and interrogate NPI parts data to ensure it is correctCollaborate with different vertical partners, Product Groups, Engineering teams and downstream business partners to ensure Aftermarket parts readiness for a successful NPI Oversee project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders, addressing + resolving issues and reporting stock levels & status across each programCoordinate with internal teams to manage resources for each deliverable within the projectCommunicate with customers and manage expectations, ensuring effective use of project controls and reporting mechanismsLead projects/initiatives to implement process improvements & recommend changes to the NPI processWhat skills and experience does the Supply Chain Analyst (NPI) need? Essential:5 years or more experience in inventory management / supply chain analysis Inventory management experience utilizing forecastingStrong analytical skills Proactive with good planning ability and problem solving skillsStrong communication skills youll provide updates and reports to different teamsMicrosoft office, Excel (youll be able to use lookups + create pivot tables etc to analyse data) Desirable:Alteryx or Power BI reporting (any knowledge of these or similar systems is highly desirable)A background in Aftermarket parts distribution, inventory management systems and dealer operations or equivalent If youre interested, please apply now with an up-to-date copy of your CV that clearly shows your relevant experience; suitably qualified candidates will be contacted immediately.The above represents a summary of the contract assignment.
