Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a UK based renewable energy company who specialises in the development, construction and operation of utility scale solar projects, to recruit a Bid Manager to secure new business opportunities. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will: Develop bid proposals with accurate costings and contribute to business planning. Provide excellent customer service and technical sales support to new and existing clients. Promote company services and drive sales growth across various market sectors. Maintain accurate documentation and generate monthly sales reports. Collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and support overall team performance. Take initiative to drive continuous improvement with strong attention to detail. Stay updated on industry trends and communicate key developments to senior management. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Previous experience with AutoCAD and PVsyst Software Demonstrated ability in managing end to end bid preparation. Confident in handling technical sales enquiries and bespoke quotations. Personal skills The Bid Manager would suit someone who has: Excellent organisation and capability of managing multiple projects. Fantastic communication, across verbal and written platforms Able to work effectively and to tight deadlines Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
