With continued growth and expanding responsibilities, they are strengthening their finance team and looking for a Financial Accountant to help drive global operational excellence.Salary and Benefits of the Financial AccountantCompetitive Salary: 55,000 - 65,000Flexible Working: Hybrid - 2 days per week remoteGenerous Annual Leave: 38 days (30 + 8 bank holidays)Pension Contribution: Up to 9% employer contributionPrivate HealthcareInformation on the Role of the Financial AccountantAs the Financial Accountant, you will be supporting financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Team, with a particular focus on transactional finance, reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance.Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:Financial OperationsManage the General Ledger, Purchase & Sales LedgerPrepare, post, and review journal entries ensuring documentation and accuracyEnsure regulatory and policy compliance in all transactionsSupport month, quarter, and year-end closing activitiesMaintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, including expenditure, revenue, and assetsOversee invoice processing and maintain accurate inventory controlFixed Assets & Intercompany TransactionsManage CAPEX, asset depreciation, and disposalsEnsure balanced and reconciled intercompany transactionsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in intercompany balancesCompliance & Internal ControlsMaintain strong internal controls, including adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)Ensure compliance with tax legislation and financial regulations (supported by tax specialists as needed)Contribute to the integrity of the internal control frameworkWhat You'll Need as the Financial Accountant Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong SAP FICO knowledge and IT proficiency (Excel, Access, ideally Power BI)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsA methodical, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to financeHow to ApplyApply Now and take the next step in your career with a business that's making a global difference by submitting your CV direct for review.
