Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Estimator (Plumbing & Pipework)Location: Ware, Hertfordshire (Office-Based)Salary: 60,000 70,000 per annum (depending on experience)About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator with a strong background in plumbing and pipework to join our team in Ware, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, office-based position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical (plumbing and pipework) projectsReview drawings, specifications, and tender documentationSource and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractorsConduct take-offs and ensure all aspects of the project are accounted forLiaise with project managers, engineers, and clients during the tender processIdentify risks and opportunities within project scopesSupport the preparation of tender submissions and presentationsRequirements:Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator, specifically within plumbing and pipeworkStrong understanding of mechanical building servicesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent numerical and analytical skillsProficiency in estimating software and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and negotiation skillsHighly organised with attention to detailDesirable:Experience working on commercial or industrial projectsRelevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building ServicesWhat We Offer:Competitive salary (60,000 70,000)Stable, office-based role in Ware, HertfordshireOpportunity to work with an experienced and supportive teamCareer development and progression opportunitiesIf you are a detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator looking for your next challenge within a well-established company, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
