CLASS 1 DRIVERHours: Monday to Friday - Days from 06:00 & Nights from 18:00People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the WALSALL, WEST MIDLANDS. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.What are the benefits?As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly RatesOngoing WorkWeekly PayImmediate StartsEmployee Well-being Program Rates of Pay: Monday to Friday days 15.80 per hour & Nights - 16.80 per hourSaturday: Days 16.30 per hour - Nights 17.30 per hourSunday : Days 16.50 per hour - Nights 17.50 per hour Day to Day Duties:Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Must have container experienceOperate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Essential Skills:As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsMust have container experience Desirable Experience: Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience in containers Training: Support offered throughout assigment This client values its workers and provides an excellent working environment.
