Operations Manager - Childrens ServicesPermanentWalsall - office and field based£50,000 - £55,000Job SummaryMy client is looking for a strong, reputable Operations Manager to join their team and take on this exciting new position.This role comes at a time when their organisation is looking to grow and expand and is therefore recruiting a new senior manager to oversee the current services, as well as to play an integral part in opening and supporting new services.As Operations Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Director, Head of Safeguarding and Head of Operations, and you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the registered / home managers of the services throughout West Midlands. It will be your responsibility to provide support and advice to the registered managers where needed, whilst ensuring that all homes meet the minimum standard of ‘Good’.DutiesCreating and implementing improvement / performance plans for the different homesConducting supervisions with Registered/ Home ManagersDeliver management development sessions and support mangers through CQC/Ofsted Registration process and PIR documentationSupport with action plans from audits / mock inspectionsSupport with Safeguarding / Investigations & Sickness review meetingsWork closely with the referral department to conduct referral assessmentsMaintain and develop relationships with new and existing local authoritiesBeing available to travel to different homes when neededRequirementsLevel 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) (Social Care)At least 5 years’ experience at either a senior Registered Manager position or Operational role within residential Children’s services (adult services will also be considered)A sound understanding of Ofsted & CQC and all safeguarding requirements for residential services.Your own form of transport and a full UK driving licenceProven Operational / Business development understanding from previous roles.If you are interested in this position please apply to this advert of contact Issy Eaden on
