Job Description Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with experience servicing diesel engines and commissioning Flybrid, Hybrid, or Sync packages? Our client, based near Walsall, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their growing team, delivering on-site engineering services to meet the highest standards and ensure customer satisfaction.Salary & Benefits:Overtime paid at half time and double timeCompany flexibility and understandingWorking hours: 08:0016:30 MonThu, finish 15:30 FriPaid door-to-door travel when field basedThe Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will:Carry out planned services and maintenance of company equipmentFault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues accuratelyIdentify and use specialist equipment and connectors as requiredSet up equipment per contract customer and manufacturer specificationsModify generator fleet as instructed by the Technical ManagerAttend equipment breakdowns and participate in the on-call rotaSupport team development through training and adherence to management systems (Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality)Handle ad hoc technical duties as neededThe Candidate: The ideal Field Service Engineer will have:Experience repairing diesel engines and mechanical/electrical systemsKnowledge of electronic systems and mechanical components (including engines and alternators)Flybrid, Hybrid, or Sync package commissioning experienceDeep Sea knowledge and synchronising experienceExcellent IT and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectivelyConfident, professional, and customer-focusedAVR experience advantageous but not essentialIf you are experienced as a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Diesel Fitter, Maintenance Technician, or Service Technician, this Field Service Engineer role could be an excellent next step in your career.JBRP1_UKTJ
