Our Consumer Finance division is a fast-growing, FCA-regulated lending business focused on residential HVAC and renewables. The Role As a Financial Accountant, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust controls within a dynamic, regulated environment. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, youll work closely with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to both technical accounting and commercial finance activities. Key Responsibilities Prepare statutory and management accounts in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements. Manage financial close processes, reconciliations, and reporting to Group Finance. Maintain rigorous balance sheet controls and ensure SOX compliance. Support FCA regulatory submissions and governance reporting. Handle VAT and tax pack preparation, with knowledge of partial exemption VAT beneficial. Partner with internal teams to provide insights and influence decision-making. About The Candidate What Were Looking For Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical skills. Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred. Excellent analytical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills to present complex financial information clearly.
