Job Title: Pipefitter ( Contract for 12 months- likelihood of extension ) Location: Barrow-In-Furness Based on site full time Requirements: Apprenticeship Certificate and NVQ level 3 What you''ll be doing: Manufacturing & Installation of small/large bore pipe spools Using a wide range of different materials Be located in the Pipe Shop on the ship Fabricating and preparing pipework ready to be installed on the ship Comfortable working in confined areas and at a great height Your Skills and Experience: Understanding & be able to read technical drawings Be able to work to Datum Knowledge of shock clearance requirements Be comfortable working to Imperial Measurements Cutting/preparation of Non-Target material pipework Key understanding of SHE Processes and Policies Additional information: Before starting you must hold FULL SC- Estimated minimum time scale for this is 6-8 weeks Once you have started you will start on a 4 day week fixed shift and remain on this for 2 weeks until they have completed your training- You will then be added onto a permanent shift pattern Training - This is completed over 2 weeks After this you will do the below: 3-4 day onboarding course- this includes health and safety Random drug test may be required prior to starting Please note this is fully paid for by the client55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
