As a Clinical Scientist within our eCOA team, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and validating electronic clinical outcome assessments that power global trials. This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with innovative technology, ensuring accurate, patient-centered data collection that drives better evidence and faster therapies.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and incentivesPrivate health, pension, and life insuranceFlexible time off and hybrid work optionsEmployee wellbeing and assistance programmesModern technology for remote collaborationWhat You’ll Be DoingProvide clinical subject matter expertise in developing eCOAs to meet client needsCollaborate with internal teams on electronic form layout, interface, and validation rulesAct as eCOA Clinical Science SME on client calls from study start through platform go-liveSupport Business Analyst and Test teams with clinical validation expertiseReview and evaluate data from eCOA platforms, usability testing, and surveys to improve functionalityLiaise with sponsors and scale authors as requiredPresent eCOA batteries for large international trials to sponsors for approvalWork with operational groups to resolve clinical-related issues in services and softwareDevelop work instructions, process guidelines, and SOPs to ensure compliance with GCP and SOP requirementsParticipate in team meetings and maintain communication with remote staffWhat We Look ForGraduate degree in psychology, social work, counselling, psychiatric nursing, or related fieldMinimum 4 years’ experience administering assessment tools, psychiatric symptom rating scales, and/or neurocognition scales; structured diagnostic interview experience preferredMinimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical trial, research, or clinical settingKnowledge of scale development and clinical assessment best practicesFluency in English; additional languages preferredBasic understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and AdobeAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, including overnight staysBased in or able to work remotely from the UKAt Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
