Regional Lead, Payroll Quality & Compliance (APAC/EMEA/Americas)

DescriptionThe Regional Lead, Payroll Quality & Compliance is responsible for managing outsourced payroll operations across multiple countries within the assigned region. This role ensures our clients’ payrolls are delivered accurately, timely, and in full compliance with local regulations and company policies in collaboration with our local partners.Role & ResponsibilitiesLead the onboarding of new payroll vendors – training them according to internal standardsOversee end-to-end payroll processing across the region, ensuring that standard processes and agreed payroll calendars are followed end-to-end by our vendorsValidate the payroll output and maintain appropriate documentation for governanceServe as the internal link with vendors for local payroll regulations, audits, and compliance mattersMaintain payroll controls, checklists, and reconciliation processesDrive payroll risk management, resolve escalations, and address discrepanciesSupport continuous improvement by managing incident logging and assessing against agreed KPIs and SLAsEnsure service delivery meets defined SLA and KPI targetsIdentify opportunities for automation and system optimizationAct as the key contact point for outsourced payrolls in your regionManage relationships with external payroll vendors and monitor their service performanceRequirementsExperience: 5 years+ managing vendors in a multi-country payroll roleKnowledge: Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax rules, and compliance frameworks across APAC / EMEA / AMER (depending on region)Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills for reporting and reconciliationSoft Skills: Stakeholder management, problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindsetPreferred: Experience in a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment; experience of payroll platformsABOUT USGoGlobal is the leading professional services company to guide, establish and manage global operations with compliance and confidence.
