You'll work closely with teaching staff, learning support assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure each child receives the support and challenge they need to thrive.You will also take responsibility for a specific area of work-related learning, contributing to curriculum development and helping to embed practical, functional education that prepares our pupils for their next steps.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver personalised teaching to individuals or small groups, primarily in core subjectsPlan and adapt sessions based on pupils individual learning plans and EHCPsContribute to vocational/work-based curriculum where appropriateSupport pupils in developing functional and life skillsMonitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to colleaguesHelp manage the classroom environment to meet the sensory and emotional needs of pupilsCollaborate with Learning Support Assistants and contribute to a consistent, team-based approachWho we are looking for:Were looking for an individual with a creative, flexible and learner-centred approach, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.Essential:Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autismAbility to adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning profilesConfident in managing and supporting challenging behaviour positively and calmlyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProactive and resilient, with strong organisational abilitiesFull UK driving licence and own vehicleAbout the school3 Dimensions School is in an exciting phase of growth and development.
