ROLE – Project Manager SALARY - £25,000- £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)TYPE – PermanentLocation- WadebridgeMy client designs and manufactures specialist products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team near Cornwall on a permanent basis.The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:Experienced Project Manager, ideally with a background in Design / Product DevelopmentIdeally experience working on Commercial PV SystemsDegree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similarPRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualification would be beneficial but not requiredKnowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, fabrication, welded parts and machiningBe proficient using 3D CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo etc.Knowledge of a variety of materials – sheet metal, injection moulded plastics etc.Be able to read engineering drawingsStrong leadership skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budgetExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamResponsibilities include:Lead and Project Manage the Design, Prototyping, Development, Testing and Introduction of new productsIdentifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and deliverySuccessfully delivering projects on time and on budgetWorking on full lifecycle design projectsDesigning and developing new productsProducing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plansLiaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progressWorking with design, purchasing and production departmentsPresenting project plans and reports to managementReporting progress, managing risks and responding to issuesMaintaining technical documentation as requiredWorking in a small, multidisciplined teamIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.For more information about this role please apply, or email Tom O'Reilly on toreilly@ who will be able to provide more details on the opportunity.Many thanks, Premier Group
