Security Architect

Security Architect 6 Month Contract Location: Home / Andover (2 days on site) Rate: 750 - 800 per day (OUTSIDE IR35) Skills: Security Architecture, Sparx EA, SC Clearance We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Security Architect for a leading technology consultancy. Due to the nature of the work valid SC clearance is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Architect that is capable of shaping and reviewing complex technical architectures and ensuring security is embedded across systems and integrations. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week based on customer site in Andover. Key Responsibilities: Lead security architecture reviews across client delivery areas, identifying risks and recommending design improvements. Conduct solution-wide reviews ensuring secure integration across systems and deployments. Produce detailed architectural artefacts and documentation (e.g. in Sparx Enterprise Architect using ArchiMate / NAFv4 ). Develop and maintain security management plans covering configuration, cryptography, and assurance controls. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align with governance and programme requirements. Essential Experience: Strong UK Defence background , ideally within the British Army or related MoD programmes. Expertise in security and solutions architecture , identity & access management, and secure system integration. Skilled in architectural modelling (Sparx EA) and familiarity with Defence standards and frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
